Mom Mom and Beth

I had the honor of photographing Mom Mom and Beth a couple of weeks ago. This was such a sweet and special shoot! Mom Mom was scheduled to have surgery a couple of days later. They were both experiencing so many emotions that day. It is really hard to even put this post into words.

I wanted to take the time to share with all you readers because I know there are some out there that do not believe in God. I can tell you, God is real and he showed up that day! There were 3 huge wind chimes at the park we were at. They are beautiful and once I spotted them I knew I had to get some pictures of Mom Mom and Beth with the wind chimes. It was not windy that day and I thoght that I would never be able to hear those pretty wind chimes because I could not physically reach them. As soon as Mom Mom would step under one, they would go crazy! As soon as she would back off they would stop. I promise the wind was not blowing! I knew at that time God was telling us that everything was going to be o.k. with Mom Mom's surgery. It was a feeling of true peace and it is so hard for me to explain it in this blog. If you know Mom Mom and Beth ask them about it! It was an amazing experience and it is one that I will never forget.

Mom Mom is recovering well from her surgery and the Dr.'s found that the cancer was not as bad as they originally thought! I love you Mom Mom and Beth! I also love that God reveals Himself to us in small ways, sometimes we just have to slow down and look for Him. I hope you love your pictures, I know I do!!
